Ex9L-N residual current circuit breakers are mainly designed for domestic applications. They are based on the permanent magnet principle. It provides the advantage of a voltage independent function. A suitable voltage is only necessary when testing the RCCB with the test button T. Magnetic residual current circuit breakers should be tested regularly for a period of one month. The 6 kA variant of the Ex9L-N residual current circuit breaker is mainly intended for undemanding applications such as basic protection in domestic installations. The AC type is a residual current circuit breaker sensitive to sinusoidal residual current. It operates selectively in relation to residual current circuit breakers type S or S+A installed before it.
